Cleaning and Maintenance Duties

• Cleans high areas such as vents, duct covers, lights & fixtures, beams, signs, columns, ceiling tile and televisions.
• Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, escalators, Slot Machines and other work areas.
• Cleans parking lot: pick up trash and cigarette butts, sweep, occasionally pressure wash area around entrance and smoke shack.
• Keeps front entrance clear of snow and ice: shovels snow from all exit areas of building, applies salt (ice melt) where and when needed.
• Sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties waste baskets and cleans ashtrays.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Keeps storage rooms clean and organized.
• Answers guest’s questions about the facility.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and/or six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
• The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
