Responsibilities
- Process and post payments and denials to customer accounts, received electronically and through regular mail
- Balance cash batches
- Problem-solve to close assigned cash batches
- Call insurance companies to resolve batch issues
- Conduct internet research to locate Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and EFT/ERN information
- Research and distribute documents
- Answer phones and open/sort mail
- Improve work procedures and expedite workflow
