Lead Case Supervisor (Practicum Student)

About the role

This role is designed for individuals actively in their coursework to become a BCBA and accruing practicum hours. The Lead Case Supervisor position is intended to prepare you to be a successful BCBA upon completing your hours and passing the exam. You will report to the Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA) at your specific clinic and be part of the new Apex Program, designed for individuals within 6-9 months of testing. The program includes enhanced programming for practicum students and community building with peers across centers.

Highlights

• Base pay: $28.50/hour, with $2,000 signing bonus upon offer
• Bonuses: $2,000 signing bonus, plus an additional $5,000 once you pass your BCBA exam
• Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), learning and practicing key skills to become a high-quality BCBA
• Full-time, hourly position
• Caseload and paid unrestricted hours may be higher as you get closer to testing, depending on local center growth and availability
• 1 additional week of PTO to prepare and study for your exam

Responsibilities

• Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
• Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
• Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
• Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
• Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
• Training and coaching to be provided
• Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar's in-house curriculum
• Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
• Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
• Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
• Conduct direct client therapy (10-20 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master's program for ABA
• Be within ~400-600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
• Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
• Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
• Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy
• Desire to learn and grow and accept feedback
