Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations.
• Perform and lead hands-on carpentry and construction tasks.
• Supervise and guide crew members and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Modus Construction's standards.
• Support project scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Take increasing ownership of smaller projects over time.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field construction experience (carpentry background strongly preferred).
• Prior experience as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman is ideal.
• Desire to grow into a Superintendent or Foreman role.
• Must provide own tools and equipment.
• Able to both perform tasks independently and lead others effectively.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints.
• Enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in efficiently completing tasks.
• Must provide own tools and cordless tools
