About the role

Journey Construction, a division of Journey Group, is a full-time employer based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They are currently seeking a Lead Carpenter to join their team. The role focuses on interior renovations for commercial businesses, particularly in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, steel, and wallboard.
• Lead and manage a team of carpenters.
• Use all general hand tools and carpenters' tools.

Requirements

• Technical education and/or 3 years' work experience, or combination of education and experience to meet essential job functions.
• Experience in a leadership or lead role managing a team.

• Knowledge of all general hand tools and carpenters' tools.
