Lead Caregiver for Child Development

Buffey Early Childhood Center (Pumpkin Patch) up to 35 Hours/Week - Student Days - $16.25/hour dependent upon qualifications Must have or willing to obtain a CDA or Associate in Early ChildhoodFollow LARA licensing guidelines for childcare centersPrevious knowledge in state licensing, TS Gold (Smart Teach), Creative Curriculum, High Scope, etc. preferredPrior experience working with young children preferredDemonstrate effective oral and written communication skillsMaintain confidentiality of information regarding all studentsDemonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of this positionParticipate in training pertinent to the assigned positionRegular attendance and punctuality is requiredPassionate about the education of young students (3 year olds)Previous experience preferredWillingness to learn new skills and acquire new knowledgeEvidence of good interpersonal skills with colleaguesCommitted to the importance of the student's educational growth and developmentMust have the ability and willingness to work effectively with parents and staffProvide a list of work and personal referencesMust successfully complete a thorough background check, including LARA and LiveScan Criminal Records Check Application Process External applicants will submit their application through the Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium (MMAPS), Job ID 34890.
