What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, professional care to older adults in their homes
- Aid with personal care, mobility, transfers, companionship, meals, and daily routines
- Support clients with dementia care and end-of-life care needs
- Help with new client starts to create a smooth and positive care experience
- Step in for urgent or last-minute shift coverage to help prevent gaps in care
- Review care plans and visit notes to understand each client’s needs and preferences
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, office staff, and other caregivers
- Provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to other caregivers when needed
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN credential
- Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support
- Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers
- Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed
- Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation
- Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Schedule, Travel & Requirements
- Must be available for 60 hours per week to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
- Reliable transportation plan and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
- Comfortable navigating San Francisco homes, apartments, stairs, elevators, pets, and smoking environments
- Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
Pay & Benefits
- $22.00-$24.00/hr, depending on experience
- $880-$960/week before taxes at 40 hours per week

Work Area
This role supports clients in homes and apartments across San Francisco and surrounding areas. Caregivers should be comfortable planning reliable travel between assignments and adapting to different home environments, building types, and client needs.
