Responsibilities

• Help with critical shifts including fill-ins, new clients, and training shifts with new caregivers.
• Be available to work on short notice during assigned availability times with clients in any assigned branch service areas.
• Support clients in activities of daily living: household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.), cooking and/or serving meals, helping clients bathe, dress, and groom, providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies, transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car, assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers, monitoring and reporting on their condition.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required
• One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
• Washington only: If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program (complete within 120 days while working)
• Oregon only: If you have not completed the state‑required 8‑hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you must complete it plus nurse‑led medication training (both paid)

Pay

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM
