About the Role
As a Lead Caregiver, you serve as the shift leader, ensuring exceptional, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage
- Provide hands-on ADL support when needed
- Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards
- Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly
- Support onboarding and mentor new team members
- Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions
Requirements
- A High School Diploma/GED
- Age 18+
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care
Qualifications
- Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of seniors
- Ability to lead and coach a caregiving team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed to promoting safety and compliance

- Exceptional care coordination and leadership skills

Pay
Pay Range: $19.65 - $24.60 per hour
Schedule
Hours vary based on department and location needs.
