Lead Cardiovascular IR Technologist
About the role
The Lead Cardiovascular IR Technologist provides non-clinical operational oversight related to radiation safety, imaging systems, equipment management, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures the department meets all safety, accreditation, and state licensing requirements while supporting efficient operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day clinical leadership for the radiologic technologists within the cardiovascular IR suite.
- Ensures clinical excellence, staff competency, safe patient care, and seamless procedural support while serving as a primary clinical resource for physicians and staff.
- Provides non-clinical operational oversight related to radiation safety, imaging systems, equipment management, and regulatory compliance.
- Safeguards the department against risks and ensures adherence to safety protocols.
- Supports efficient operational workflows by managing equipment and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ensures clinical excellence through ongoing training and support for radiologic technologists.
- Acts as a primary clinical resource for physicians and staff, providing guidance and support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology
- Current cardiac catheterization experience of 1-2 years required or equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
- NJ DEP State license required
- ARRT Certification required

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range. Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
