Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader supporting feature teams
- Clarify scope, priorities, and delivery expectations
- Facilitate feature kickoff and planning sessions
- Assign work across development teams as appropriate
- Define features and acceptance criteria
- Develop effort estimates and document assumptions, risks, and dependencies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to elevate development practices
- Code quality, and cross-team communication
- Partner with platform and shared services teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in non-production environments
- Coordinate with multiple teams to drive resolution
- Act as a release leader
- Support deployment activities and ensure production readiness
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile delivery processes and technical standards
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive professional software development experience
- 4+ years of experience providing technical leadership
- Setting architectural direction and mentoring engineers
- Strong hands-on experience with modern Microsoft-based technology stacks
- .NET (Framework and Core), C#, JavaScript, and relational databases
- 1+ years of React experience (ideally)
- Open to considering strong Angular experience if not skilled with React
- Experience working with microservices-based architectures and distributed systems
- Solid background in analysis, system design, and full lifecycle application development
- Demonstrated experience with process modeling, data modeling, performance optimization, and application monitoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

The Lead Software Engineer partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable features while improving team productivity and delivery outcomes. This position balances hands-on engineering expertise with cross-team leadership and release ownership.
