Lead Business Systems Analyst

Description

This role will be onsite at our Easton office in Columbus, OH (or in Minnetonka, MN).

Summary

The Lead Business Systems Analyst works with business partners within one or more business units to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client’s unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support.
• Serves as a project team member or team lead.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
• Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis, and documentation of future business requirements.
• Align IT resources and processes in order to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related work.
• 2+ years of experience building data queries (preferred SQL).

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience with AML/BSA IT applications (Anti Money Laundering).
• Professional experience with Excel.
• Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio.
• Strong organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details.
• Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion.
