Lead Bindery Operator Job

Responsibilities

• Cook up and prioritize jobs according to the production team.
• Comply with all OSHA and PrintCraft safety requirements.
• Support operations as needed and communicate effectively with the General Manager, Production Manager, sales team, and the production team.
• Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.
• Perform all bindery functions as noted on job tickets.
• Pack jobs, complete job tickets and other documents as necessary and place in the assigned areas.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs.
• Monitor and manage bindery supplies, order stock as instructed.
• Inform supervisor of equipment problems.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with experience or vocational/technical certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Able to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
