Lead Barista

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Barista to join our dealership bistro team in North Richland Hills, TX. The ideal candidate is a coffee enthusiast with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage the team effectively in the absence of the manager
• Willing to cross-train and learn back-of-house operations
• Handle shifts alone when needed
• Lead and support the barista team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks with consistency and care
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café
• Manage inventory, restock, and order as needed
• Train and mentor new baristas
• Ensure all drinks and food items meet quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently without supervision
• Previous barista experience (leadership experience a plus)
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skills
• Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
