Responsibilities

• Assist with leading the team, training new associates, and supporting day-to-day operations
• Prepare all specialty coffee and tea drinks to specified standards, providing guests with professional, friendly, and timely service
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment, counter, and prep areas; participate in ongoing service training
• Conduct daily/weekly inventory of coffee, tea, beverages, and supplies
• Polish silverware and glassware
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be outside the normal scope based on business needs (e.g., stocking, menu knowledge)

Requirements

• One year minimum of barista experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Enjoy preparing specialty coffees, teas, beverages, and food items in a fun environment
• Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging with guests
• Openness to learning, developing, and growing both personally and professionally
• Trustworthiness and integrity

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds semi-regularly

Pay

The base pay scale for this position is $19.40 per hour.
