Responsibilities

• Assist with leading the team, training new associates, and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Prepare all specialty coffee and tea drinks to specified standards, providing guests with professional, friendly, and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment, counter, and prep areas; participate in ongoing service training.
• Conduct daily/weekly inventory of coffee, tea, beverages, and supplies.
• Polish silverware and glassware.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be outside the normal scope based on business needs (e.g., stocking, menu knowledge).

Requirements

• Enjoy preparing specialty coffees, teas, beverages, and food items in a fun environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging with guests.
• Openness to learning, developing, and growing—both personally and professionally—while helping others do the same.
• Trustworthiness and integrity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• One year minimum of barista experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods.
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis.
