Lead, Bakery

Role Overview: This position leads daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff are trained, fully staffed, and meeting company standards and goals. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory, ensuring product freshness and quality through proper ordering and storage.Oversee receipt validation, stock replenishment, and product handling to maintain quality and safety standards.Lead a team in stocking, production, and other tasks, ensuring accuracy, proper rotation, and handling of spoiled/damaged items.Maintain knowledge of store products, sales, and promotional programs.Implement weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, and payroll in collaboration with management.Support department staffing, training, performance management, and goal development.Participate in meetings, uphold food safety and safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized department.Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, PPE, and guest experience guidelines.Assist with tasks across departments as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required.Preferred 0-2 years retail experience.Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Leadership abilities and hands-on management experience.Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and suggestive selling is a plus.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; bilingual skills in Spanish desirable.
