Lead Baker
Job Summary
The Lead Baker is a culinary professional responsible for the creation, preparation, of a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods in bulk. Areas Of Responsibility include following recipes, creating new recipes, managing inventory, planning dessert menus, ordering supplies, cleaning and sanitizing the baking area, and providing excellent customer service.

- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and baking techniques
- Providing excellent customer service by interacting with patrons, answering questions about pastries, and accommodating special requests or dietary needs
- Understanding cost control, portion sizing, and pricing to contribute to the financial success of the pastry department
Requirements
- Associate's/bachelor's degree preferred
- Certificate in culinary arts or a related field
- At least 3 years culinary/baking experience under Director of Dining leadership
