Lead/Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Goddard School® of West Chester is hiring Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join their early childhood education team. They believe in putting their teachers first because they believe in putting their students first. The school uses their proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.
• Use The Goddard School’s proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• A high school diploma (an ECE degree or CDA is preferred).
• A passion for working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• To meet state licensing and background requirements.
