Lead/Assistant Teacher

About This Role

Medina Learning Academy in Medina, TN is seeking a qualified Lead/Assistant Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5), School Age (5–12), Mixed / All Ages in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

We are a childcare center that offers a nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, as licensed by the State of Tennessee. We're looking for team members who share our passion for childcare, are creative and friendly, and enjoy working with children.

What You'll Do

• Deliver top-notch care and affection to our cherished children
• Foster open and effective communication with our parents and staff members
• Develop engaging lesson plans that bring our curriculum standards to life and keep our children engaged and active
• Stay up-to-date on and rigorously adhere to our child safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Nice to have: Excellent social skills and a warm, friendly demeanor.

About Medina Learning Academy

Medina Learning Academy is a new fun filled learning nurturing environment that thrives on providing a safe environment for all children. We are currently interviewing for the following positions:

• a two year old teacher
• a three year old teacher
• a Pre-School teacher for four year old children to get ready for Kindergarten
• three Permanent Floater positions

These three Permanent Floater Positions will be replacing the regular teachers on their days off during the week and cross training in all classrooms.

Our staff work four days a week at ten hours a day. We are off on week-ends our operating hours are 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We are looking for those who are at least 18 years old, love children, dependable, and pass a drug/background check.
