Lead Analyst Cloud Financial Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Analyst Cloud Financial Operations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support cloud financial management efforts across enterprise technology environments, with a focus on visibility, cost discipline, and informed planning. The individual will partner with finance and technology stakeholders to analyze spend, track consumption, and identify opportunities to improve forecasting and control. This is a strong fit for someone who combines financial analysis skills with cloud cost management expertise in a data-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $114,000 – $165,300 annually Responsibilities Manage financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, with a focus on budgets and expenses Build a comprehensive inventory of platform expenses and cloud consumption to support improved planning Analyze spending versus budget and provide insights into key cost drivers Monitor technology costs, including AWS, and identify cost-saving opportunities Gather and consolidate financial data from various teams and stakeholders to improve visibility Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of Cloud FinOps or related financial management experience Strong skills in Excel or similar tools for financial analysis and modeling Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud cost management principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong ability to identify trends Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan with up to 6% company matching and financial advisory services Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year Generous paid time off policies and paid volunteer time Inclusive Business Resource Groups (BRGs) that promote collaboration and community involvement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
