About the Role
This is a trailblazing position on an AI team with the opportunity to disrupt a trillion-dollar industry at a $6B logistics company and the #4 asset-based 3PL in the country. You will build real tools used daily by real people, see immediate impact, and grow as fast as you can deliver. The role partners closely with the executive team, influencing company-wide AI strategy and adoption. You will lead and develop a team of AI Builders, drive results, translate business needs into specifications, and coordinate across engineering, IT, product, and operations to move tools from prototype to production. You will own ROI measurement across the AI product portfolio and set the pace for speed, quality, and security.
Within your first two quarters, you will establish a functioning AI product pipeline, a team delivering consistent efficiencies, and documented ROI across the portfolio. You own the outcomes, not just the roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of AI Builders, driving results through motivation and accountability.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications and priorities.
- Coordinate across engineering, IT, product, and operations to move tools from prototype to production.
- Own ROI measurement across the AI product portfolio.
- Set the pace for speed, quality standards, and security within the team.
- Stand up a functioning AI product pipeline and deliver documented ROI within the first two quarters.
Requirements
- Proven experience driving results through managing, motivating, and holding others accountable.
- Sufficient AI or computer science background to understand technical problems (mastery not required).
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business functions.
- Track record of delivering and measuring outcomes.
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Located in Reno, NV; full-time, on-site role.
