About the role
This role provides business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of the company’s advocacy plan
- Collaborate on coordinated federal and state advocacy campaigns
- Plan and implement high-profile advocacy events
- Monitor political landscape for emerging opportunities
- Serve as an external representative for the company
- Draft materials for communications and public presentations
- Evaluate team performance and set annual goals
Qualifications
- 12+ years of advocacy and policy experience, including time on Capitol Hill
- 8+ years of supervisory experience leading cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes
- Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills
- Experience with early childhood policy issues preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills for relationship-building across various stakeholders
- Law degree or master's in a related field

Pay
$160,000 – $180,000 annually
