Lead Accountant - Pipeline Accounting

Summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Lead Pipeline Billing and Revenue Analyst to join their Operational Accounting team. This position encourages a culture of inquiry, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline processes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages daily processes for pipeline ticket entry and customer billing
• Ensures all customer billing is on time and accurate
• Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency
• Maintains productive relationships with all counterparties through proactive, effective communication
• Analyzes financial results effectively, providing supporting details and insights that contribute to the company's success
• Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics and contributes to the success of the overall team

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience: Years of experience commensurate with requirements below
• Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, Synthesis, or TopTech a plus
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Power BI or Alteryx preferred
