Lead 2 Year Old Teacher

About This Role We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead 2 Year Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Woodstock, VA. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. You will design and implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development during these critical formative years. What You'll Do Plan and execute a play-based curriculum tailored to the unique developmental needs of two-year-olds.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with Virginia state licensing standards.Support children through daily routines and transitions, including meals, rest time, and potty training.Observe, document, and communicate individual student progress and milestones to parents and guardians. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Minimum of one year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.Ability to successfully pass all state-mandated background checks, fingerprinting, and medical clearances.Exceptional patience, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood development. Nice To Haves Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.Active CPR and First Aid certifications.Previous experience implementing Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5) frameworks.
