Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Experience: One year of experience in direct patient care is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas (includes multistate); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required (may be obtained within 3 months of hire).

To demonstrate knowledge of normal physical assessment findings and appropriately address abnormal findings.
To exhibit appropriate communication skills necessary to provide patient care directives and interpret responses to treatment.
To demonstrate appropriate awareness of suspected abuse/neglect and take measures to report suspicions.
To identify and plan for safety precautions to prevent patient injury.
To meet departmental standards and competencies as evidenced by department-specific documentation.
To document appropriately in patient medical records.
To attend scheduled departmental meetings and education.
To report safety concerns or events appropriately and participate in performance improvement initiatives for the department and facility.
To maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, customers, leaders, and providers.
To follow standard precaution protocols and abide by Infection Control procedures.
To provide care directed by providers in a compassionate, supportive, and respectful manner to families, patients, and visitors at all times.
