Qualifications/Experience
- Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Experience: One year of experience in direct patient care is preferred.
- Licenses/Certificates: Current licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas (includes multistate); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required (may be obtained within 3 months of hire).

- To be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Essential Job Functions:

- To demonstrate knowledge of normal physical assessment findings and appropriately address abnormal findings.
- To exhibit appropriate communication skills necessary to provide patient care directives and interpret responses to treatment.
- To demonstrate appropriate awareness of suspected abuse/neglect and take measures to report suspicions.
- To identify and plan for safety precautions to prevent patient injury.
- To meet departmental standards and competencies as evidenced by department-specific documentation.
- To document appropriately in patient medical records.
- To attend scheduled departmental meetings and education.
- To report safety concerns or events appropriately and participate in performance improvement initiatives for the department and facility.
- To maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, customers, leaders, and providers.
- To follow standard precaution protocols and abide by Infection Control procedures.
- To provide care directed by providers in a compassionate, supportive, and respectful manner to families, patients, and visitors at all times.
