LD Tank Hook-up Operator

Starting pay: $22.28/hour with shift differentials of $0.50/hr for day shift and $2.50/hr for night shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions, procedures, and hook-up forms to properly attach hoses and make connections from tanks to coating lines
• Utilize work instructions to guide and troubleshoot issues with slurry transfers
• Clean and maintain slurry transfer pipes and pumps
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
• Ability to remain focused on task at hand and complete processes without distraction
• Be willing to work with minimal supervision and deal with problems while performing tasks which may require multiple steps
• Provide real-time feedback on daily production status and escalate production issues to the supervisor
• Recognize when issues should be escalated and when support is needed rather than attempting to solve all problems alone
• Demonstrate excellent verbal skills
• Drive 5S implementation
• Approach day-to-day production activities with a positive attitude, as well as collaborate with other team members on the production floor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
