LCSW Supervisor — School-Based Mental Health - Bellingham, WA

POSITION SUMMARY As the LCSW Supervisor — School-Based Mental Health, you provide clinical leadership and supervision to school-based mental health clinicians while carrying a student caseload. You partner with special education, counseling services, and administration to implement evidence-based interventions and support family engagement across assigned school communities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and case consultation to school-based mental health cliniciansConduct trauma-informed intake assessments and develop individualized mental health treatment plans aligned with IEP goalsDeliver individual and small-group evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused techniques)Assess suicide and self-harm risk, develop safety plans, and respond to mental health crises in collaboration with school safety and administrationFacilitate family meetings, caregiver training, and mental health educationReview clinical documentation and treatment-progress records for quality and complianceCollaborate with school counselors, special education staff, nurses, and community mental health partners to coordinate care REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related clinical field from an accredited institutionValid, unrestricted state licensure as an LCSW (required for supervisory role)Experience providing clinical supervision or leadership to mental health cliniciansKnowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic approachesExperience working with children or adolescents in school, clinical, or community settings
