LCSW Field Supervisor

Core Responsibilities

• Reviewing client case files to assess risks, monitor treatment plans, and ensure that field interventions are safe and effective.
• Facilitating weekly individual and group supervision of Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs).
• Oversight of ethical, legal, and professional development of ASWs, ensuring they meet LCSW licensure requirements.
• Monitoring compliance with mandated reporting guidelines, professional boundaries, and state licensing regulations.
• Ensuring adherence to evidence-based home visitation programs like Nurse-Family Partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Oversight & Triage: Assessing risks, monitoring treatment plans, and ensuring safety and effectiveness of field interventions.
• Staff Supervision & Mentorship: Conducting weekly supervision sessions, providing guidance, and supporting ASWs in their professional development.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to mandated reporting guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations.
• Program Models: Ensuring fidelity to evidence-based home visitation programs such as Nurse-Family Partnership.

Local Context

• Navigating complex social determinants of health within Los Angeles County Service Planning Areas (SPAs 1-8).
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including DMH and DCFS.
• Fieldwork involvement, accompanying staff on home visits for direct modeling and crisis support.
• Collaborating with community agencies like HFA and PAT.

Hybrid 2 days in office located in Los Angeles
