Layup Operator

Responsibilities
- Get correct stile and rail carts to line
- Perform first piece checks
- Feed materials through glue spreader per the production schedule
- This position requires high attention to detail
- All other assigned duties
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
- Experience with:
- Must be able to read and interpret production tickets
- Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills
- Work safely and follow all plant rules
- Show initiative, be a self-starter
- Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
- Able to multi-task
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
- Read a tape measure and do basic math
Qualifications
- Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with
- Think under pressure, make quick and strategic decisions
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
- Show initiative, be a self-starter, and be able to train and coach others
- Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
- Operate a computer and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay
The hourly pay rate for this position is $24.64 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

2nd shift-5:00pm-3:30am
