About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Layout Technician - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 cent shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Responsibilities
- Operate sheet metal fabrication machines
- Read shop orders
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Perform quality checks
- Use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-driven
