With continued growth in the United States, Red-on-line is looking to appoint an EHS Consultant to support both domestic and international clients by delivering regulatory research, compliance guidance and legislative monitoring services. About The Role This opportunity would suit a qualified lawyer with an interest in environmental or occupational health and safety law, or an Environmental, Health & Safety professional looking to build a career within a global regulatory compliance consultancy. Working from the Nashville office, the successful candidate will support clients across a range of industries, helping them understand and respond to evolving environmental, health and safety regulations at both Federal and State level. The role combines legal and regulatory research, client advisory support, compliance consulting and legislative monitoring, providing exposure to both US and international regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities Research Federal and State EHS legislation and regulatory requirementsMonitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting client operationsDraft clear summaries and regulatory updates for client publicationSupport the creation and maintenance of client-specific legal registersConduct site visits to identify EHS compliance obligations and operational risksRespond to client enquiries regarding environmental, health and safety legislationMaintain internal regulatory databases and compliance resourcesCollaborate with US and international colleagues on client projects and consulting activitiesSupport the ongoing development of Red-on-line's regulatory compliance solutions Requirements We welcome applications from candidates with either a legal or environmental, health and safety background, including: Juris Doctor (J.D.) qualification, ideally with a focus on environmental law, occupational health and safety, or regulatory compliance; orMaster's degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Candidates should also demonstrate: Strong analytical and research skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to interpret and explain complex regulatory requirementsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAn interest in regulatory compliance and legislative monitoringFluency in English Previous compliance, consulting or EHS experience would be advantageous, although candidates with limited professional experience who can demonstrate a genuine interest in environmental, health and safety issues will also be considered.
