Lawn Technician - Trainee

Position Summary

Essential Duties & Tasks

• Lawn fertilization, weed/pest control and aeration
• Evaluate lawns on each visit and note any issues or concerns
• Diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Manage and grow a customer's route
• Service and evaluate customer's lawn every 4-5 weeks
• Communicate potential problems to customers
• Drive and maintain assigned company vehicle
• Safely operate and maintain ride-on machine and other assigned equipment

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record
• Exceptional customer service & communication skills
• Willingness and desire to learn about the lawn care industry
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment
• Background check
• Physical job requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, standing, and bending for moderate periods of time
