Lawn Technician

About the role

As a Lawn Technician you'll spend your days outdoors helping customers keep their lawns healthy, green, and pest-free. You'll identify lawn and pest issues and apply treatments, monitor lawn conditions, and step in with recovery plans when lawns need extra care. Your role will include checking on customer properties, spotting issues early, and making sure each yard gets the attention it needs to thrive. You'll also build trust with customers by keeping them informed and following through on lawn recovery efforts. Responsibilities

• Identify lawn and pest issues and apply treatments
• Monitor lawn conditions and implement recovery plans as needed
• Check on customer properties and spot issues early
• Ensure each yard receives the attention it needs to thrive
• Build trust with customers by keeping them informed and following through on lawn recovery efforts
• Assist in various service departments within the branch as needed
• Measure and mix product applications accurately using basic math skills
• Operate a variety of hand tools and equipment safely
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required

Requirements

• Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing product applications
• Technical proficiency with computers and smartphones
• Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• High school degree or equivalent

Schedule

• Flexible schedule between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Availability to work some weekends
