Pay & Compensation

• Starting Wage: $21/hr
• Expected Average: $21/hr – $28/hr
• Top Earners: Make an extra $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses alone

Schedule

Full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees; flexible schedule. Typically work 10-hour days, 4 days per week (with variations due to weather and customer needs).

A Day in the Life of a Lawn Care Specialist

Your primary responsibility is to be the face of our company in the field. You manage a route and transform landscapes across our service area. Your “office” changes daily as you navigate to residential and commercial properties to complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. You take pride in the “before and after,” knowing your work enhances a customer’s home and their pride in their property.

You are more than a technician—you are a consultant and problem-solver. In this high-visibility role, you are the first person a customer sees when they have questions about their landscape. Using our provided training, you assess lawn health and landscape needs, building rapport that makes customers feel they have a “pro in the family.” Whether explaining the benefits of aeration or discussing tree care, your clear and kind communication ensures clients are happy, informed, and confident.

Adaptability is key. You move with the seasons, ensuring properties are cared for year-round. In winter, you pivot to snow removal, keeping customers safe and mobile. This is a licensed specialist position, allowing you to perform high-impact work like pesticide application after obtaining state certifications.

Your most important responsibility is your own development. We expect you to be hungry to learn. You’ll grow your skills alongside a team that values “learning by doing,” whether you have experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower. Bring a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to be coached.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn
