About the role
Lawn Doctor of Boise is a locally owned and independently operated lawn care company seeking a strong Lawn Care Technician/Applicator.
Responsibilities
- Apply lawn fertilization and weed control treatments
- Treat landscape beds and non-turf areas for weeds
- Perform pest control treatments around homes and properties
- Apply tree and shrub fertilization and insect control
- Perform aeration and overseeding during the season
- Help with equipment maintenance, shop tasks, and operational support as needed
Requirements
- Dependable, motivated, and ready to learn
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Interested in building real knowledge in lawn, tree and shrub, and pest control services
- Takes ownership of their work and customer relationships
- Wants to grow in skill, responsibility, and leadership over time
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality
- Applicator license and/or pest control license
- Experience in lawn care, pest control, tree and shrub care, or related field service work
- Experience in a route-based position
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
