Lawn Care Technician (Chemical Applicator)

About the role

The primary responsibility of the Lawn Care Technician (Chemical Applicator) is to maintain and enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties through the application of various lawn care chemicals and services.

Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides to control pests, promote healthy growth, and manage weeds.
• Inspect properties to assess maintenance needs and prepare detailed work plans.
• Communicate with clients to discuss treatment schedules and answer any questions they may have.
• Operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, spreaders, and sprayers.
• Document all work performed and keep accurate records of treatments applied.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in lawn care or related field.
• Experience with chemical applications and equipment operation.
• Proficiency in using lawn care software and tools.
