As a Law Enforcement Security Officer- Academy Trained- Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
Responsibilities
- Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
- Maintain visibility to help deter security-related incidents.
- Assist travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions or concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and credential-related activity in accordance with location policies and applicable governmental requirements.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
- Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C.922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
Qualifications
- Formal Education, Licenses, And Certifications Required: Completion of one of the following approved programs: Certified State law enforcement recruit training, Certified County law enforcement recruit training, Federal law enforcement training, Programs approved by the Director, each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications.
Skills
- Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.

Pay
$28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
