About the role

Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a part-time Law Clerk to join their Westchester, New York office during the academic year. Ideal for law students looking for valuable, hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced attorneys on active client matters
• Develop practical legal skills
• Gain exposure to a wide variety of practice areas within a firm that values its people, collaboration, professional growth, development, and true mentorship
• Assignments may include:
• Conducting legal research
• Drafting memoranda and correspondence
• Reviewing pleadings and case materials
• Aiding in litigation matters and preparation
• Supporting attorneys on a range of client matters across various practice groups

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school
• Open to 1L and 2L students
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Flexible work schedule
