About the role
Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a part-time Law Clerk to join their Westchester, New York office during the academic year. Ideal for law students looking for valuable, hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced attorneys on active client matters
- Develop practical legal skills
- Gain exposure to a wide variety of practice areas within a firm that values its people, collaboration, professional growth, development, and true mentorship
- Assignments may include:
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting memoranda and correspondence
- Reviewing pleadings and case materials
- Aiding in litigation matters and preparation
- Supporting attorneys on a range of client matters across various practice groups
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school
- Open to 1L and 2L students
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Flexible work schedule
