Law Clerk Full Time
About the role
We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for a part-time or full-time Law Clerk to join our fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
- Drafting legal notices and letters
- Aid attorneys with drafting motions and preparing discovery
- Aid in case intake, reading and reviewing leases, legal forms and correspondence
- File management
- Contacting clients as needed to obtain missing case-related information
- Performing additional legal administrative duties as needed by the department
Qualifications
- Current law student in the process of obtaining J.D.
- Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Extensive data experience with a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable speaking with business professionals
- Self-starter who can succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and follow up with clients
- Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
The Following Qualifications Are Preferred
- Legal Admin experience
- ProLaw experience
Schedule
This position is open to candidates seeking either part-time or full-time work and will be onsite. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.
