Law Clerk for Fall 2026 Semester – Chicago

The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, LLP, an AV-rated® firm of 200+ attorneys across 16 offices, is seeking a Law Clerk in their 2nd or 3rd year of Law School to work part-time. No experience is required, but clerkship experience with litigation and/or insurance coverage practices is preferred. Candidates must have excellent writing, time management, and organizational skills. This is a great opportunity to work directly with attorneys and gain hands-on litigation experience with a dynamic team in Chicago. This is a paid clerkship with the potential to return to the firm as an associate after passing the IL bar. Competitive hourly rate of $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Pay rate is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Qualifications: On track to receive JD from an ABA accredited Law School in May 2027 or 2028 Law Review/Law Journal or Moot Court is preferred Sitting for the July 2027 or 2028 IL bar Superior academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication.
