LAUSD Jr M&O Project Manager

About the role

This is a direct hire opportunity for a Project/Construction Management position in Southern California. The role involves managing projects, particularly those in educational facilities or public agency projects, across all phases including pre-construction, planning, construction progress monitoring, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Cal OSHA requirements
• Oversee environmental procedures and compliance
• Use Maximo for asset and work management

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years full-time paid professional experience in Project/Construction Management
• Experience in educational facility or public agency construction projects preferred
• Knowledge of safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements, and environmental procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or environmental field required
• Candidates without a degree may compensate for experience on a year-for-year basis

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The salary range for this position is $119K - $133K, with actual compensation dependent on qualifications, experience, and other factors.
