Laundry Worker

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lb, push/pull up to 50 lb, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Pay

Starting from USD $14.00 per hour. Hourly rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
