Laundry Team Member

About the role

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Laundry Team Member at a property managed by OTO Development, an industry‑leading hotel development and management company known for upscale select‑service, extended stay, and lifestyle hotels.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment
• Load and unload textiles from machines
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to provided formulas
• Monitor feeder information on washers, ensure drums are full, and report irregularities to supervisor
• Set proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen
• Clean machines and surrounding areas
• Sort linen and terry items
• Pre‑treat items for stains as needed
• Fold linen and terry according to property specifications
• Transport linen and terry within the laundry area and to linen storage areas within the hotel
• Comply with hotel safety requirements for supplies, equipment, and facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor

• Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas, and their effects on various types of linen
• Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods (physical demand)
• Little to no travel required outside the property and surrounding areas
