Laundry Staff

About the role

Kaw River Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, KS is hiring a Part‑Time Weekend Laundry Staff to join a dynamic and caring team. The position works Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the day shift and offers a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled laundry, linens, and garments.
• Wash and dry laundry according to instructions.
• Separate, fold and/or hang garments and deliver them to the appropriate areas.
• Assist the housekeeping department when requested.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service with a warm, friendly demeanor to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and transportation.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.

Work Schedule

This part‑time position works 8‑hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (day shift). Periodically you may be asked to cover additional weekend shifts.
