Laundry Manager - CAMP VERDE

Basic Function

Develop, lead, and supervise laundry production teams. Ensure laundry procedures are followed and finished linens are to set standard.

Work Performed

• Assist with the selection and training of new team members
• Participate in performance rewards and evaluations
• Support with documentation
• Build and manage budgets/P&L statements
• Provide solutions for any financial goal variances
• Ensure all Enchantment Resort and Mii amo Spa Standards and safety protocols are consistently met
• Maintain situational awareness of surroundings, correcting or reporting any maintenance issues
• Fills in positions in Laundry when needed
• Train staff in safe operation of equipment and proper processing methods
• Instruct and inform laundry associates of schedule and equipment to be used
• Monitor par levels and advise laundry manager when reordering is needed
• Monitor stain percentage, damaged linen, and production reports
• Coordinate maintenance with laundry mechanics
• Perform all positions in the laundry and uniform room including safe and proper operation of all equipment

Minimum Requirements

• Three to five years proven leadership and management experience operating a high-volume laundry; either in a hospitality or institutional laundry operation
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts according to business needs
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task many priorities
• Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision, and organized
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
