Laundry Manager (#013940) McCormick Correctional Inst, McCormick (MCCORMICK) Level 3

Job Responsibilities

• Direct commissary, laundry, and barber/beauty operations.
• Supervise laundry operations.
• Train and oversee all inmate workers.
• Ensure proper procedures are utilized.
• Maintain equipment.
• Aid in supply distribution for the commissary.
• Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of barber equipment.
• Order and stock necessary equipment and supplies.
• Develop and implement a system to reduce and/or eliminate theft of laundry items.
• Absorb responsibilities of the manager in their absence.

Requirements

• Successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.
