What You Will Have an Opportunity To Do

Laundry Machine Operator, Dellshire Resort

• Operate large-capacity commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, extractors, and presses.
• Load, measure, and monitor proper chemical and detergent use in all machines per established guidelines.
• Monitor machine performance, water temperature, and cycle times to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, damage, or stains, and rewash or report as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laundry equipment, including lint trap cleaning and daily checks.
• Maintain accurate production logs and equipment use records.
• Assist in folding, pressing, and organizing finished linens and uniforms as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including the correct handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report mechanical issues, chemical supply shortages, or operational concerns to leadership immediately.
• Support inventory control efforts for linens, chemicals, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Uphold Dellshire Resort’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork in every task performed.

Who We Are Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial laundry operations preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry processes, equipment, and chemical handling.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot washers, dryers, and presses safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive motions and handling heavy loads.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
