About the Role
As a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Delivering soiled linens to the laundry area
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms
- Consulting with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them
- Ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained, contributing to the overall presentation of the establishment
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided
- Minimum 2 years of experience
