Laundry/Housekeeper

About the role

Calyx Living is seeking energetic Laundry/Housekeepers for our assisted living community in Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing, making beds and changing linens, laundry, vacuuming, and other tasks to ensure residents live comfortably in a clean, polished environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas
• Make beds and change linens
• Perform laundry duties
• Vacuum and maintain floors
• Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned to support resident comfort

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience strongly preferred
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with team members, residents, and families
• Reliable, diligent, and hardworking
• Able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, and carry
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and may be required to move furniture
• Ability to respond productively to additional tasks or projects
• High School diploma preferred
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
